This pattern is designed to be fitted for a small, standard or large size dancer. The waist can be worn for any measurement falling into one of the three ranges. A ribbon tie and velcro closure is used for custom fitting.
 
Small = 22" - 26"
Standard = 26" - 30"
Large = 30" - 34"
 
This pattern is specially designed not to stretch on the bias of the fabric so that the hem length and finish will not alter. However, the finished hem should be altered on the dancer after the skirt has had a chance to hang and any bias stretch is trimmed. The pattern enclosed can be made as a straight single or double circle skirt; with or without a ruffle. It is strongly recommended that a proper undergarment be worn such as a dance culotte.
